RADIANT BODIES
The works with illuminated bodies open up a delicate interplay between the digital and the analogue, where light and body become a flowing dialogue. Digital images unfold on the skin as if they were dreaming of the surface they touch. The body, simultaneously projection surface and medium, becomes a living boundary that touches the indeterminate. In this fusion of pixels and flesh, of appearance and reality, the boundaries become blurred and invite us to surmise what lies between the worlds.
This fusion of light and body not only creates visual impressions, but also emotional and sensory experiences that mesmerise the viewer. The body becomes both a surface and a medium that unfolds transformative effects. By projecting light onto the body, the boundaries between appearance and reality, material and immaterial, body and light are broken down. These works invite us to question our own perception and to rethink the possibilities of interaction between humans and technology. Radiant bodies, indeed.
